Spectra is an web application from Allaire that deals with content management, personalisation, and e-commerce. It runs on the Cold Fusion application server from Allaire. There's more about Cold Fusion on my Cold Fusion Links page.

I've been using Spectra since April 2000, and I've got to say that while it shows lots of promise for the future, the product can best be described as "immature" at present, the chief problem being lack of adequate documentation. The best piece of advice I can give anyone right now is to buy the Ben Forta book Allaire Spectra E-Business Construction Kit

• There's a replacement for <cfa_htmleditor> called eWebEditPro. Hopefully this will prove to be a cure for the broken URLs that you get by creating links end embedding images with the default editor.
