I am a Certified Advanced ColdFusion 5 Developer with a strong focus on both Spectra and Cold Fusion.

At work I've been heavily involved in the web (intranet and internet) since 1996, in projects delivering web applications, web content management systems, and in designing web sites. Key skills are

	Web Application Development using COLD FUSION, FUSEBOX, SPECTRA, SQL and JAVA.
	Web / Database Integration using COLD FUSION, SQL Server, Oracle, Informix and SQL.
	Web Page Design and Implementation using HTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, XML and graphics packages
	Web Site Structure and Design

Before that I worked in Unix System/Network Administration for a while and before that I supported operating system software on IBM mainframes.

My early career in the computing industry was as an applications programmer, on engineering and scientific applications.

In between those well defined roles, I have had odd spells where the only suitable job title was Consultant, designing solutions in areas like security, user administration, problem and change management, often working as a one-man team directly for an I.T. manager.
